I received some terrible news tonight from Dan Lee's wife, Glenda. Danny passed away today, as Glenda advised us in her email below. I decided that I would just forward my shocked response and her own words. Dan sounded so jovial and happy when I spoke to him a few days ago and I am almost dumbfounded, so forgive me if I do not express this well. I know nothing more than what she says below. In case you wish to send a card to Glenda and family, she lives at 10685 W. 47th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. She also was a warm, laughing person when we spoke.
Watch the newspapers for arrangements and services, I guess.

I am so sorry to read of such a tragic and sad loss for you, your family, and for all of us who considered Dan a great friend during our high school years and since. I was so looking forward to seeing my old pal again after all these years. How terribly sad. Our hearts break with yours. Please accept my deepest sympathy and that of all of us who knew him. Certainly, I will advise all Dan's many friends.
Of course, we will return Dan's check un-cashed. I will be in touch later; this isn't the time for more words. I am stunned.
