Our 35th Class Reunion was held in Tampa, Florida from July 6th to July 9th. For the early arrivals the hospitality suite was the general meeting place and dinner was at Newk's Restaurant. Friday night the class members met for dinner  at the Colombia Restaurant where we were all treated to cuisine from our past. Dinner consisted of a buffet containing tossed salad, Spanish rice, black beans, plantain, fried yucca, pork medalions, red snapper, and cuban bread ( very similar to our own "micha" bread). For dessert we had a choice of chocolate mousse and / or flan. The entertainment was provided by the restaurant's Flamenco Dancers and a local disc jockey who played music from the 60's. After dinner the classmates departed to the Waterside Hotel to attend the Society's Panazonian Dance or to just hang out in the hospitality suite. Saturday afternoon the classmates met in the hospitality suite for a pizza party get together which included socializing, a group picture and door prizes. In the evening and into the early morning hours everyone partied by attending the Pan Canal Society Ball and then adjourning to the hospitality suite for fond farewells.
