BHS 1965
40th Reunion Banquet
The reunion banquet was held in the Chastain Room on the 25th floor of the Renaissance Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.

The tables were centered with a cluster of balloons which were placed on a mirror surrounded by 4 candles to be used for the memoriam tribute to our deceased classmates. Each table also contained 4 stuffed bulldogs, 2 white teddy bears sporting a red mortarboard wearing gold wire-rimmed glasses, a red bow tie and carrying a diploma. There were also 2 white teddy bear cheerleaders wearing two red bows, dressed in red and white stripes carrying red and white pom-poms.

At each place setting there was a program for the night's events, a red or white long-stemmed rose candle, a miniature plastic champagne glass filled with the custom-made M & M's for "BHS 1965  --  40th Reunion" and a "goody" bag which included a BHS pen and a customized mug containing a packet of gourmet hot chocolate and Panamanian coffee, a package of Maria cookies, a commenorative Civil Affairs Library bookmark and a scroll with the major events that took place in 1965 along with copies of the school songs on the reverse side.

On the bottom of every bag was the name of a stuffed animal
for each reunion guest to include as one of their mementos.

Thanks go to the following volunteers who truly demonstrated
team work in helping set up the table  decorations for the banquet:
Pat Albritton Henson, Sue Lessiack Stabler, Mike & Sue (Dessert) McClure, Jodi Dunn Bouxsein, Gloria Wirth Wardrup, Maggie Knapp, Larry and Camille (Hendricks) Harrington, Vicki McCoy and Jane Wellington Lawyer.

Every table in the room had a view of the Atlanta skyline
which magically came alive with the city lights upon nightfall.
