We are currently enjoying a great period of building enthusiasm and participation, but the combat community in the US is still fragmented geographically and by preferred flavor of combat. The Nationals has lost its shine and the MACA Top Twenty rankings no longer seem to have the significance or prestige they were meant to embody. This month I discuss these issues and some ideas about how to organize ourselves in order to ride this wave as far as it can go.
