Harrods Creek Boat Owner's Association (HCBOA) is a club for boaters around the Louisville/Southern Indiana area, however, we do have many members in other areas, mainly Florida. Ours is a social / boating club, which has been around since February 1983. We meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month at designated restaurants/clubs around Harrods Creek or the river in Louisville,
We get together during the summer to take boating trips up or down the river, going to Pier 99 in Warsaw Kentucky at least twice a year. We make at least one or two trips to Cincinati each year by boat, and get together at other places along the river, such as 6 Mile Island, 12 Mile Island, Grassy Flats, 18 Mile Island and Westport, to name a few. We do this every weekend during the summer months, and during the colder months, we will get together at one of our favorite hangouts on or around the water. Sometimes we just meet at our boats to spend the night. We're a pretty close group who just want to have fun and go boating.
