HANOVERIAN FOALS
out of Donnerhall and Pik Bube broodmares
      Welcome to my Webpage!

Fourteen years ago I imported a Hanoverian filly from Germany to fulfill my lifelong dream of creating a small Hanoverian breeding farm capable of  producing Dressage horses of the highest quality.  Pik Duella (Pik Bube) arrived in 1984 and became the foundation mare of Greenefields Farm.  Later, I consulted with the breeder of Pik Duella, Hans Hagen, to choose the best cross for her and in 1992 I bred her to Donnerhall Donna's Pik was foaled the following spring and received her Elite status in November of 1997.
Pik Bube and Donnerhall are from the famous Stud Groenwohldhof where they were trained and ridden by the world renowned trainer Herbert Rehbein.   The Donnerhall/Pik Bube cross is known for producing outstanding dressage horses such as Davignon, who won the high score at his 100 day test in 1991.  Because of the rare quality of these stallions, I am proud to have the Elite mare Donna's Pik and Pik Duella as the base of my small breeding program.
Greenefields Farm is located on thirteen acres of pasture-land in rural, western Rhode Island where the foals have the freedom to run and develop naturally.  Imprinting is done at birth, followed by gentle, daily handling which has produced, calm responsive foals that are a joy to be with.  Greenefields Farm was the winner of the Breeders Class at the 1998 fall NEDA show in Halifax, Mass.
