Mom and Dad both enjoyed traveling around the United States and Canada!
This is a poem that Dad wrote about
"Travel"
"Travel"

Some people travel off to Spain,
Or to the Holy Land's.
Or take a trip to China,
Or to Hawaii's sands.
Now some folks visit England,
Because they think it's fine.
Others go to Germany,
To sight-see on the Rhine.
While some go to Alaska,
Where snowfalls never cease.
And others try a boat trip,
Around the shores of Greece.
Some like to go to Africa,
To hunt the lions bold.
While others travel round the World,
Or so I am told.
Now I will make this statement,
And I won't hesitate.
I haven't seen half the sights,
Right here in my own State!
