TLC Homeschool Group
is a collection of local families who coordinate their homeschool experiences with each other. Group members contribute to, write, edit and mail out a monthly newsletter. A meeting is held each month at a member's home to compile the newsletter and discuss activities. Activities in the past have included library game days, hikes at local natural areas, swim lessons, book clubs, science fairs, and play productions. Newsletter content is decided by whoever wants to contribute. Participation varies from reading the newsletter to coordinating activities. Membership costs $8 a year to cover newsletter expenses.
