Word lists
It is impossible to say exactly which words you need to know. It partly depends on what you want to talk about! But assuming that you do not have any special subject needs then here are some lists which you could use to test your knowledge or guide you in which new words you should learn. The words are clickable to get a translation to English and an audio file to hear the pronunciation. Start with the 2000 word list and aim to master the 6000 word list to gain good fluency.
