"Ruger" MBIS MBISS BIF AM/CAN Ch Camelot's Promise To Bakari SC HIC was bred by Clayton Heathcock and Cheri Hadley of Camelot Rhodesian Ridgebacks in Martinez, California. He was born on January  1st 2002 in a litter of 7. His sire is the three time National Specialty BOB Winner- MBISS MBIS Ch Kimani's Blue Chip Image JC ROM(Chip). His dam, BIS Ch Camelot's Follow The Sun(Marley), took Best Opposite to BOB(Chip) at the 2001 National Specialty.  I am very excited about this handsome boys accomplishments. . I am increadibly proud of him. Ruger also loves lure coursing.and has earned his Senior courser and Herding Instinct title. Ruger needs 1 point to finish his AKC Field Championship and become a Dual Champion.  His OFA hip screening has an Excellent score and he is clear of elbow dysplasia,  thyroid disease, and his patellas are normal. He is 27 1/2" at the withers and weights in at 104lbs. I Showed Ruger to his Championship and Don Rodgers is now showing him as a Special. What a team they are! Ruger is currently the only Rhodesian Ridgeback in History to have won a Best in Show and a Best in Field! Ruger has become quite the STAR! "BEST IN SHOW" Sun Maid Kennel Club of Fresno March 11, 2006 JUDGE: Mrs Cynthia Sommers Ruger is showing on a limited basis in 2007 with his awesome handler Don Rodgers.  We are also going to hit some lure trials!  With very limited coursing he already has 14pts and two majors towards his AKC FCH and DC.
