S.O.S. FESTIVAL (Support Our Schools) |

Involves and benefits 9 North Baldwin County Public Schools. Saturday, March 2nd, 2008 at John F. Rhodes Civic Center in Bay Minette, Alabama. 10:00 am -4:00 pm. Performances by school bands, choirs and groups. Silent auction, cake walk and raffle. Schools will have booths selling food, drinks, books, etc. Free admission. Cake walk and raffle tickets $1. Benefits Bay Minette Civic Club's annual "Underprivileged Children Christmas Shopping Tour" (toys are purchased for over 20 needy children each year). October 31st, 2008, 5:30 to 8:00 pm at John F. Rhodes Civic Center in Bay Minette, Alabama. Carnival games, costume contests, Frankenstein's cake walk and free trick-or-treat candy. Safe, family fun. Sponsors Needed. |

Bay Minette Civic Club purchases Christmas gifts for over 20 needy children each year. Bay Minette Civic Club members shop for needy children in our area (names are supplied by the Baldwin County Department of Human Resources). Shopping takes place the Tuesday before Thanksgiving at the Bay Minette Wal-Mart. Money is raised for this worthwhile cause through various fundraisers throughout the year. Your tax deductible donation is needed and appreciated!! |

Bicycles are cleaned and repaired as needed and given to needy families through the "North Baldwin White Christmas" program. North Baldwin White Christmas provides families in need with food, clothing and toys during the Christmas season. Used bicycles and tricycles are collected all year (the greatest need is during October through December). All sizes are needed - Child and Adult. |

Benefits Bay Minette Civic Club Charity Fund. Next Event - BIKE-O-RAMA 13: May 16th thru 18th, 2008. New location: Chuck Stevens Motorsports, 2307 Highway 31 South, Bay Minette, Alabama. All makes of motorcycles welcome. Public welcome. Motorcyclists attend from across the South. Motorcycle shows and games, live music, Sunday worship service, motorcycle related vendors, food and drink vendors, horseshoe tournament, etc. $10 per person weekend, 12 and under free.
