This is one of my projects.  I made all the furniture in the cottage out of Obeche wood using plans from books.  It was then treated with Briwax in an antique brown colour.  The cottage was made and furnished before I started using power tools, I only had a craft knife and  straight edge so making the furniture took ages.

Bedroom I used stair spindles for the washstand.  Hand made quilt and  Draylon rug.  My friend Jo painted the picture and the vase.

Spare room   I don't know whether to have a lodger or to take in sewing.

Scullery I made the sink and brick boiler out of Das,  the rest of furniture is made out of Obeche wood.

Kitchen   The cooker is made out of card, the dresser is my favourite piece of furniture.
