3 Things to avoid when looking for a puppy:
1- Dogs registered with a registry other than AKC (American Kennel Club), If your in the USA, or Canadian Kennel Club for Canada. Be sure if your looking at a CKC Dog it is from CANADA!!
2- Mini Bulldogs
3- "Breeders in foreign European countries that sell thru U.S. brokers/Breeders should be avoided".. That this has become the latest version of 'puppy mills' and has created lot's of problems with health, registration, etc. Be sure to deal with a breeder directly, and know their qualifications, their club memberships, their guarantees, and all applicable information needed to register with the American Kennel Club" Importing puppies for the sole purpose of resale is a broker.
