Training

I must say this was quite a challenge! I have never had puppies before and I didn't know what to expect. I began by keeping them in the laundry room with a baby gate (so I could still see them). I put papers down to cover the entire floor. And then I attempted to slowly remove the papers. This did not work! I think that by having two puppies they prevented each other from being trained. So I decided to try crate training. I was against it before. I thought that people had paper trained for years and that you do not need to crate train. Boy was I wrong! After I began crate training it was only a matter of weeks before they were trained. I highly recommend it! It is definitely a speedy method!

I highly recommend buying books that specialize in trick training.  Zor is a pro at the "lay down" command. I read a book to get him to do that. Another recommendation is that you use clear commands, for example: "Sit" and "stand"  sound a lot alike I would suggest using another term for "stand" like "tall" or "Up".
