CURRENT CONSULTING OBJECTIVES:
I have consulted throughout much of the nursery industry in the United States and abroad. My particular area of expertise deals with all aspects of palm culture including production, installation, and maintenance. I am recognized as a leading authority on palm horticulture. During consultation I integrate all aspects of plant care into a manageable program that assures the greatest chance of success for the client. MS, Petco Park, San Diego, CA, the California Speedway, Ontario, CA, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Home Depot Olympic Training Center, etc.)I am trained in plant nutrition and am responsible for the formulations of most of the widely distributed "Palm Special" fertilizers. Additionally, I am familiar with palm & other plant diseases and insect pests. I have been trained by Dr. Howard Ohr (U.C. Riverside, retired) to certify the selection of Fusarium free Canary Island Date Palms. I can also certify the health of other palm species, including True Date Palms (Phoenix dactylifera). I can make sound pest and disease control recommendations. My philosophy is that consulting will save my client money because projects will be done properly, using the latest horticultural research findings, saving expensive replacement costs! On projects with existing problems I can usually quickly identify and remedy the problem. I pride myself in being the consultant that most "consultants" call for help. I also qualify as an "Expert Witness" and have given expert testimony in many court cases.
