Democratic Patriotism Party

Welcome to the homepage of the Democratic Patriotism Party.  This is a party of people who want action and are willing to fight for it.  The party is extremely liberal on some issues (gay rights, taxes) while also conservative on others (military, death penalty.)  The party was created in response to the polar extremism between left and right in current American politics.  The key to success is to reach a middle ground, and that is what this party is about.

COMPLETE SYNOPSIS OF THE DEMOCRATIC PATRIOTISM PARTY: Here is a list of common political issues and the party's stance on them: 1.  Abortion-  The DPP sees abortion as a necessary evil.  It is not an activity that we advocate, but do feel that it is a necessary right for a woman to have. 2.  Gun Control- The DPP believes that NO CONVICTED FELON should ever be able to own a gun.  The DPP also believes that there must be a nationwide, computerized database to provide background checks on gun buyers.  The DPP, however, is not against guns and believe that gun ownership is a right of qualified American citizens. 3.  Gay Rights- The DPP believes strongly in gay rights, especially gay marriage and gay adoptions.  We feel that is within the rights of ALL citizens to marry and adopt. 4.  Death Penalty-  The DPP believes that the death penalty should be allowed as of now so that the funds currently used to house these criminals can go to people who really need them.  5. Education- The DPP believes that a free public education is an important right for every child.  However, we do not advocate the usage of private school vouchers. 6.  Foreign Aid- The DPP believes that aid to foreign nations is necessary and important.  We feel that it is the duty of all to help the less fortunate worldwide. 7.  Military- The DPP believes that funding to the military must be increased.  The threat of attack from foreign nations and terrorists grows everyday, and our armed forces must be able to defend our nation in crisis situations. 8.  Environment- The DPP believes that everything possible must be done to protect our environment.  This is the only world we have to live in, so we must protect it. 9.  Immigration- The DPP encourages LEGAL immigration, as we believe that the United States should accept foreign people looking to succeed.  10.  Energy-  The DPP believes that the key to success is the energy field is for the U.S. to produce its own oil and natural gas as much as possible.  We also need to look to new alternative sources of energy, rather than let foreign nations make us overpay for fuel. 11.  Free Market Economy-  The DPP wants people to make as much money as they can.  We think the government should back off Microsoft, because it is a healthy monopoly.
