The Electronic Soccer Association (ESA) is a member of the ESMS Online Football Association (EOFA) and associated with the EICA for inter-league competition. This is a free play-by-email soccer management league and is strictly for fun (no prizes) and for bragging rights. The ESA is loosly based on the Italian League with clubs and players named after those in Italy. With seven seasons now complete, this pbem league is going strong with three divisions and ten clubs per division. League matches are run on a weekly basis with some cups being played midweek. The matches are run using a modified version of the Electronic Soccer Management Simulator (esms) program. You wil be responsible for your club's finances (including signing and selling players), sending in your starting squad, and your match tactics. You will try to avoid relegation and struggle for promotion to contend with the best in Italy. The top clubs are invited to compete in the EICA Champions League and EICA Cup to strive for international glory. The ESA also forms a squad of the most talented players to compete with the other leagues in the EICA to prove our dominace.
