                ART

This section is dedicated the artwork I've done over the past  couple of years that has been F13 based. Some of it is done with my multimedium layering (mixed media) method. Others are done by cut and pasting images......All of them I'm sure you'll find interesting.........

First off is my trademark hockey mack and crossed machetes picture. This picture is based on an earlier painting I'd done in the hopes of having a cover credit when I submitted my four F13 novels for publication. Though, Berkley actually used their own version of this design for the book logos. Now I'm actually using this graphic in my MASK OF JASON VOORHEES cover design.

This picture is titled EVIL ARISEN. It was used for the cover of  my fellow web master Matt Caddy's (JASON'S LAIR) web novel REVENGE AT CAMP BLOOD.

Here is the final product....

This picture is titled REFLECTION. I created it for the cover of Matt Caddy's friend and associate web master A.J. Urban's web novel THE BEGINNING OF THE END. In the end, though, A.J. was not fully satisfied with this graphic and the design in general. Thus, I would later have to come up with a new design....

Here is the design I originally came up with........

This picture is simply titled PORTRAIT OF JASON. It is the picture I created after A.J. rejected my original graphic for THE BEGINNING OF THE END. Later, I will create a dark summer camp background and digitally cut and paste Jason onto the background. We will have to see if this one makes the grade.....

This is the cover I created for Matt and A.J.'s first web novel RETURN TO CRYSTAL LAKE. This cover was purely a cut and paste job. I used graphics that Matt and A.J. provided. I think it turned out amazingly well....t.

Here's a banner I created for Greg Tiderington's WELCOME TO CAMP CRYSTAL LAKE website. It was a pure cut and paste job......

Here is the cover I created for Matt Caddy and A.J. Urban's fourth F13 novel,

THE LEGACY. This was another cut and paste cover. This one was more difficult though because I had to do some adjustments to the background because the picture originally showed Jessica Kimble from JASON GOES TO HELL stabbing Jason in front of the Voorhees House. To get rid of Jason and Jessica I had to cut and paste small pieces of brick, wall, and shadow from different parts of the picture and use these to cover up them up. Then, of course I cut and paste the large Jason over the top of that. The result is that you wouldn't know that the background picture was ever altered.

Another interesting thing was that I had to do five versions of this cover because Matt and A.J. couldn't make up their minds about colors used in the title and the bar on the top.
