Jason, who is presumed dea is taken to the morgue at Crystal Lake Hospital. Unfortunately, for the morgue attendant and a nurse the rumor of his death was greatly exaggerated.
Meanwhile, six teenaged friends have arrived at a rental house on the edge of the woods near Camp Crystal Lake. In the house next to the rental live the Jarvis family: Mrs. Jarvis, her daughter Trish, and her son Tommy.
Soon the partying teenagers draw the attention of an unwanted guest, Jason. That's when the bloodshed starts. In the end Trish and Tommy must fight for their lives against the unstoppable killing machine that is Jason Voorhees........
