Tommy Jarvis, in a final attempt to purge himself of his fears of Jason, goes to Jason's grave to destroy his body once and for all. But when he sees Jason's corpse Tommy freaks out and stabs it with a metal fence pole.

Then, as he's getting ready to burn the body a bolt of lightening strikes the pole and brings Jason back to life.....

Now Tommy must find a way to stop Jason, who is even more powerful and unstoppable than before, before Camp Crystal Lake once again becomes a bloodbath....
