NO SUMMER NAC MEETINGS
The next meeting of the Greenway NAC will be in the fall. Greenway NAC does not meet during the summer.

NEW APARTMENT PROJECT
The Board of Design Review will conduct a public meeting on July 26, 2001 to consider the proposal to build a 46 unit complex on the SE cornor of SW 125th Avenue and SW Conestoga Drive. The proposal is to construct two apartment buildings, one two-story, the other three stories. The affected parcel is zoned Urban High Density (R-1) and is approximately 1.34 acres in size. The Board of Design Review will review the overall design of this request including buildings, landscaping, vehicle circulation layout, and lighting design. Further information may be obtained by contacting Scott Whyte in the Development Services Division at 503-526-2652. Due to the fire at Beaverton City Hall, the Board of Design Review will meet at the Library (12375 SW Fifth) at 6:30 pm on July 26, 2001.

HALL BOULEVARD BIKE LANES, RIDGECREST DRIVE TO CASCADE BOULEVARD
This project implements a component of the City''s Transportation System Plan and improves bike safety by adding bike lanes on Hall Boulevard, between Ridgecrest Drive and Cascade Boulevard. To accommodate the bike lanes the existing roadway will be widened between Ridgecrest and Creekside drives, which includes widening of the bridge over Fanno Creek. Adequate pavement width exists between Creekside Drive and Cascade Boulevard, so only bike lane stripes are needed. Upon completion of the project, the entire roadway will receive an asphalt overlay.

This project was scheduled to be under construction by the Summer of 2001. The overall project schedule has slipped one year due to difficulty in getting a timely review of the Biological Assessment by the National Marine Fisheries Service. Therefore, construction of the project is anticipated in May of 2002 with completion in August of 2002. For more information, please contact Joel Howie at 503-526-2592.

This project goes before the Board of Design Review on July 26, 2001. Information on the location and time is the same as the previous Apartment review. Both projects will be reviewed on July 26, 2001.

SW 125th AVENUE EXTENSION, PHASE 1
The Extension project is a proposed north-south arterial route between Hall Boulevard and Greenway/Brockman Road, and provides a link with the existing northerly terminus of SW 125th Avenue. Phase 1 of the project is to reconstruct Greenway/Brockman Road to provide adequate site distance at the Greenway/Brockman Road/ 125th Avenue intersection.

Preliminary design and public involvement for Phase 1 has been completed by the Project Advisory Committee. The last and final meeting was on July 10, 2001. The Project Advisory Committee did ask to meet one more time when traffic control plans are being made. The tentative construction plans have Oxbow being closed during part of the construction. This would leave Davies Road as the only access to Greenway for all of the houses in upper Greenway.
This would be a disaster and something will have to be done to alleviate the situation.

The next step will be a work session with City Council. When the date has been set, notice will be mailed to the residents of the project mailing area. This mailing area includes most of Greenway NAC.
