This Week's Featured Artist:

ANTHONY RANKIN WILSON
It may have been a long-time coming for this now 57 year old musician, but his new CD Already Broken, produced by the gifted multi-instrumentalist Oliver Johnson (who also plays on the album), was well worth the wait. Top-notch Toronto players such as Brian Macmillan, dobro/pedal steel wizard Burke Carroll, keyboard great Denis Keldie, as well as Wilson's two daughters Layah Jane and Sasha Rose all add their sweet vocal harmonies and tasteful colour to the nine-song venture. Some say the overall sound is Mark Knopfler meets Leonard Cohen meets Bruce Cockburn. As anthony puts it " ...melody, rhythm, and story poetry has woven spine tingles and heart beat together with my dark nights of the soul..." and the result is the richly textured soundscape canvas of Already Broken.

For this very rare and much-anticipated performance, Anthony Rankin WIlson is joined by Oliver Johnson on electric guitar, Jerry Brodey on backing vocals, Anthony's guitar mentor and back-up guitar picker, Ed Crabtree and the very talented Layah Jane on backing vocals. You don't want to miss this one folks!
