Farley's Camp
Idita-Tours is locally owned and operated by Howard and Julie Farley of Nome, Alaska. The tour was started in 1964, and it was the first and only Dog Mushing Tour in Northwest Alaska. Ten years later, Howard and Julie helped put the Iditarod together.  They came up with donations for the trophey and volunteers to help with the end of the 1,200 mile race. Howard also decided to race his first and only Iditarod in 1973. Throughout the years they have dedicated their time and lives to the race from running the headquarters in Nome to housing mushers and their families.
