Pamela Meacher, Artist
Pamela Meacher is one of Canada's foremost wildflower and nature artists. She began painting as a young child. This early exposure to the beauty of the English countyside combined with a passion for nature's wee creatures, led Pamela to a career as a watercolour artist.
Pamela paints with an intuitive sense of colour and design. She applies a wisp of colour adding layer upon layer thus attainng the three dimensional detail that is characteristic of her style.
Through her passion for native flora, she became one of the founding directors of the Canadian Wildflower Society and was designer of their exquisite original logo.
Pamela feels deeply that others should understand how important it is to save native flora.
