As a follow up to Cremation some families choose, or perhaps are requested by the dear departed, to scatter their Ashes in a manner that will be remembered forever with fondness, love and pride.
The Lifeboat Experience is pleased to offer the opportunity to perform this important Service at Sea, with Scarborough's beautiful coastline as the backdrop.
The historic ex-RNLI Lifeboat, 'William Cantrell Ashley,' in full RNLI livery and with an experienced, sympathetic crew, combine to make your memories complete.
For this purpose our vessel is restricted to a maximum of 12 persons plus crew, therefore any Clergy included must come and be counted within this number.
This is the only restriction and thereafter, to suit your requirements, all other arrangements are open for discussion.
Families unable to attend can request the Lifeboat Experience to carry out this solemn duty on their behalf and a written record of exactly where the ceremony took place will be provided.
Charges for the private hire of the boat and this service, which takes approximately one hour and is available, subject to weather conditions, all year round is £50-00.
Any other requests or requirements that fall outside the above are open to negotiation, as the aim of the Lifeboat Experience is to be of sevice and to please at all times.
