We raised a lot of money for other people last year.
Why not let us do it for you.
THE WAY TO RAISE VALUABLE AND NECESSARY
FUNDING FOR YOUR CHOSEN CHARITY OR
WORTHY CAUSE.
Raising funds for your Charity or Organisation by taking a Sponsored Trip on a Genuine Lifeboat, is simplicity itself.
You become a Lifeboatman for the day and serve aboard the Classic Ex-RNLI Lifeboat 'William Cantrell Ashley, ON 871', now operated, for Charitable and Fundraising purposes, out of Scarborough Harbour, North Yorkshire, U/K.
Having obtained your sponsorship and arriving in Scarborough at the agreed time, you are fully kitted out, briefed and then you serve aboard the Lifeboat, as a 'Crewman', which is licensed, insured and operated by qualified crew.
Following your exciting trip and the experience of a lifetime, you collect your sponsorship money and hand it over to your chosen cause.
Everyone receives an official Certificate, to display and prove they have been and have served, on a Lifeboat.
In addition to providing the actual Lifeboat, all ancillary equipment for your safety and comfort and organising the whole of your trip. We can, if you so wish, provide A4 size Posters and Sponsorship Forms, in black and white, which makes them ideal for phtocopying.
'Crewman' and 'Lifeboatman' should also be read as 'Crewlady', 'Lifeboatwoman'. The girls are just as good as the lads any day.
AMAZE, SHOCK AND SURPRISE YOUR FAVOURITE CHARITY, YOUR FRIENDS, RELATIONS AND COLLEAGUES, BY ACCEPTING OUR INVITATION TO JOIN A VERY EXCLUSIVE GROUP AND STAND ALONGSIDE EXPERIENCED, LONG SERVING LIFEBOAT CREWMEN. THIS IS AN OFFER THAT RARELY COMES TO THOSE NOT DIRECTLY CONNECTED WITH THE LIFEBOAT SERVICE.
LIFEBOAT CREWS SOMETIMES TAKE ENORMOUS RISKS, WHEN NECESSARY, TO SAVE OTHERS. WE DON'T ASK YOU TO DO THIS, BUT GIVE YOU THIS OPPORTUNITY TO PROVE TO YOURSELF AND YOUR FRIENDS THAT YOU CAN BE PART OF A LIFEBOAT CREW AND CAN RAISE FUNDS FOR YOUR CHARITY OR ORGANISATION AT THE SAME TIME.
Good luck with your fund raising. We look forwards to meeting you, for you are 'our type' of people, and we hope your group will be the one to raise the most, so far, from a very exciting trip and a great day out.

WHICH TRIP ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE? THERE ARE FIVE TO CHOOSE FROM.
1. FILEY BRIGG. Duration aprox. 3 hours.
Sail to the northern tip of Filey Bay. To see the large scar of rock that juts out some considerable distance into the sea, is reputed to have been used by the Romans, and is known to create some spectacular sights as the sea breaks over it. It helps to form the northern boundry of Filey Bay, one of the largest bays along the East Coast. If the Seals and Pufin are there, see them as we pass Cayton Bay and sail south to the Brigg.
2. BEMPTON CLIFFS. Duration approx. 5 hours.
Some of the highest, white limestone cliffs on the East Coast, riddled with old smugglers caves, and the face providing home for millions of migrating and breeding Sea Birds, of which the famous Puffin is but one. You will also enjoy the sights of Filey Brigg and Bay, as you will pass them in both directions and of course the Seals also, if they are there.
3. FLAMBOROUGH HEAD. Duration approx. 6 hours.
South past Cayton Bay, Filey Brigg, across File Bay and under Bempton Cliffs and then round Flamborough Head into Bridlington Bay, passing the famous Flamborough Lighthouse with it's reputation for overlooking some very spectacular seas. The cliffs along this stretch have to be seen to be believed.
4. WHITBY HIGHLIGHT. Duration approx. 6 hours.
On this trip we leave Scarborough and head North to view, set in the cliffside at Whitby, a unique Lighthouse with one of the oldest and largest Fog Horns in the North. (Now disused by Trinity House, but still there to be seen and then, only at it's best, from the sea.)
The coastline is both varied and spectacular with one outstanding feature, among many others, being the Water Falls at Hayburn Wyke, where in the old days smugglers put in for fresh water. Then further along, en route, is Ravenscar, a Roman Signal Station, and Boggle hole, where until very recently, smugglers still pled their trade.
5. WHITBY TO FLAMBOROUGH HEAD. Duration approx. 10 hours.
Head North to see Hayburn Wyke, Ravenscar, Boggle Hole and Whitby Highlight, set in the cliffs. Then turn South and back past Scarborough, Cayton bay, Filey Brigg, Filey Bay, Bempton Cliffs to Flamborough, round the head into Bridlington bay, before 'coming about' and heading back North to Scarborough. This trip combines and takes in everything mentioned in the four alternative trips above. It is a very full day and a great favourite.
ALL TRIPS DEPART SCARBOROUGH HARBOUR AT 10-00am. (But are open for negotiation to suit you).
