PSALM 52 METER: 11 10 11 10 10 8 10 8 SUGGESTED TUNE: O STORE GUD (HOW GREAT THOU ART) 1. Why do you boast, O great one, of your evil? God's faithfulness will last until the end. Ruin you plan; your tongue is like a razor, And you are always coming up with lies. Evil and falsehood you love, not the truth. Your words devour, your tongue deceives. God will crush you, and tear you from your home, Uprooting you from life itself. 2. When righteous ones see this they will be awestruck-- But then instead they'll laugh at you and say, "See one who would not take God for a refuge, But trusted in great riches and great wealth!" I'm in God's house like a green olive tree. God's constant love I'll always trust. I thank you e'er for all that you have done. I'll tell your people that you're good.
