1. God, my God, I long for you,
My whole being thirsts for you.
Like dry, weary, arid land
My soul has desire for you.
I look in a holy place
So I'll see your glorious might.
2. Your love's more than life to me,
And so I will praise your name.
God, I'll bless you all my life;
I will raise my hands in prayer.
I'm filled as though with fine foods;
I will sing your praise with joy.
3. I think of you on my bed,
Meditating through the night,
For you've always been my help;
'Neath your wings I shall rejoice.
I will cleave myself to you,
For your right hand keeps me safe.
