David Crown, M.D. is the Director of The International Mezzotint Society
His beautiful mezzotints are exquisite examples of this technically demanding method of printmaking. He works in many other media: woodblocks, viscosity prints, etchings and collographs, oil painting, and sculpture in steel, aluminum and bronze. David Crown conducts workshops and demonstrations and gives lectures on the history of printmaking and on a variety of printmaking topics and techniques. His works are in numerous collections across America, Canada, Japan and Europe. Mezzotints by this artist are included in the permanent collections of The British Museum, The Harn Museum of Art and Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute Museum.
