Minden's MARATHON Appears in COUNTER Magazine

If you are at all familiar with the English gaming scene, you will have heard about COUNTER magazine.  Edited by Stuart Dagger, Alan How, and Mike Clifford, COUNTER takes up where SUMO left off. Each quarterly issue contains news and reviews of current games of strategy, particularly German games.  We are pleased to announce that issue #6 contains a "freebie" game, Minden's own Marathon.  As the name suggests, this is an athletic race game that is simple to play, but meaty when it comes to strategy.  Originally published in the Minden Sports Quad, the game always generated favorable reviews, and we are happy to see it appear in COUNTER.   If you do not subscribe to this fine magazine already, you may contact Alan How at Alan.How@which.net for more info.
