WILL:Daniel Murphree's will. See a copy of the actual will of our earliest proven ancestor, written in 1769. An abstract, which will download faster, is located on a separate page.
LETTER:Letter from Euterpsa Murphree, written during the Civil War from Murphree's Valley, Alabama, dated April 1863.
LETTER: Letter from Roy Samuel Murphree of Hohenwald, Tennessee to Miss Nellie Murphree of Thomaston, Texas dated 29 October 1939.
MILITARY: Bailey Barton Muster Roll. This ca. 1863 muster roll from Pickens District, South Carolina gives a description of James Madison Murphree, age 47, g-grand son of Daniel I.
MILITARY:Murphree boys in the militia. Five of Daniel and Sarah's sons are on the Muster Roll of Capt. Isaiah Hogan's Co. of Chatham Co., North Carolina Militia in 1772.
