12 Mar 2008:Staff slottings for the 2008 National Emergency Services Academy GSAR Programs have been released.
1 Apr 2008: Applicants can check on their status at https://ntc.cap.af.mil/ops/nesa/NESAApplicantStatus.cfm All applicants must be approved by unit/group/wing commanders before NHQ will accept an applicant into the program. If your applicant status shows that your unit, group, or wing commander has not yet approved your application, please follow up within your chain of command.
21 May 2008: Packets are continuing to be sent out to the applicants who have been accepted. NHQ is still in the acceptance process for those who have already applied
21 May 2008: There are still slot available in the following classes: Basic GSAR Sesssion 2, Advanced GSAR Session 1, Advanced GSAR Session 2, ICSS Session 1, and ICSS Session 2
23 June 2008: HOT!!!!!! National Headquarters has had difficulty sending out the remaining acceptance packets. They should have the rest sent out this week. As a reminder, you can check your application status at https://ntc.cap.af.mil/ops/nesa/NESAApplicantStatus.cfm; if you have been accepted, please visit the Participant page, were you can download the various forms included in your acceptance packet.
