2008 Membership

2008 is upon us and we are looking forward to another great year.

Below is information on the types of memberships offered in the OVAHA.
Fill out the downloadable form and send it to us. Be a part of the OVAHA, join us for 2008!

Adult Membership Options OVAHA Adult Associate Membership ($45.00 CDN)
- Must be at least 18 years of age as of Dec. 1 of current year
- Will receive the OVAHA newsletter, “Arabian News”
- May vote on club matters, but may NOT hold an OVAHA or AHA office

OVAHA Adult + AHA Member (non-competition) Membership ($75.00 CDN) (Add late fee $20.00 CDN to membership if applicable)
- Must be at least 18 years of age as of Dec. 1 of previous calendar year
- Will receive AHA magazine, Arabian Horse Association, the OVAHA newsletter
- May vote on club matters, may hold an OVAHA and/or AHA office, may be an AHA delegate and is a member of AHA
- Access to AHA benefits (e.g. "Members Only" section of AHA website, listings on AHA Arabian, Horse Classifieds online, Eligibility to participate in Community Shows, Free participation in Competitive Distance/Frequent Rider/Open Event Incentive)

Optional ADD-ON's to Enhance Membership OVAHA Adult + AHA competition card (competition member) Membership ($97.00 CDN) (Add late fee $20.00 CDN to membership if applicable)
- Receives all of the above with “OVAHA Adult + AHA” member benefits
- Required for those competing in AHA-recognized shows and distance rides
- Required to officiate AHA recognized events (ie. Judges and Stewards)
- $1 million personal excess liability insurance (valid for litigation in the U.S.)
- Sweepstakes prize money won in competition
- Halter and Performance Futurities Competition and Payback
- Various Achievement/Rider/Horse/All Breed Awards
- Recording Results of Open Competitions Youth Membership Options OVAHA Youth Associate Membership ($10.00 CDN)
- Must be under 17 years of age as of Dec. 1 of the previous calendar year
- Will receive AHA magazine and the OVAHA newsletter, “Arabian News”
- Entitled to all AHA/OVAHA membership benefits, except voting rights

Optional ADD-ON's to Enhance Membership OVAHA Youth Associate Membership + AHA Member (non-competition) Membership ($35.00 CDN) (Add late fee $20.00 CDN to membership if applicable)
- Must be under 17 years of age as of Dec. 1 of the previous calendar year.
- Will receive the OVAHA newsletter, “Arabian News”.
- Entitled to all OVAHA membership benefits, except voting rights

OVAHA Youth Associate Membership + AHA Competition Card (competition member) Membership ($60.00 CDN) (Add late fee $20.00 CDN to membership if applicable)
- Receives all of the above with “OVAHA Youth + AHA” member benefits
- Required for those competing in AHA-recognized shows and distance rides
- Required to officiate AHA recognized events (ie. Judges and Stewards)
