The German Wehrmacht, and the military units of the Waffen SS, fought from 1939 until 1945, outnumbered for most of that time. Their successes are a testimony to the excellent training of the men of the Wehrmacht and SS, and shows how superior German weapons were in comparison to their opposition. Their defeats are a testimony to the fighting spirit of America's armed forces and her Allies. |
