          1. a full-length play
          2. 20 pages of another play
          3. your theatrical/playwriting resume

The Hudson Valley Professional Playwrights Lab, founded by Angelo Parra in 1996, is an independent workshop of produced playwrights, many of them award winners, that meets twice a month to develop new plays for the American Stage.  

The Hudson Valley Professional Playwrights Lab meets at the at the Nyack Library in Nyack, New York.  At each session, the works of members are read and critiqued.  Membership is by invitation only.  

When members' works are ready, public developmental readings of the plays may be conducted in cooperation with Nyack Library and local libraries and theatre organizations.  

To qualify for membership, playwrights must:  
1. have written more than one play
2. have had at least one play produced
3. live in Rockland County or nearby surrounding area.
