Joe Frank Pittman, 66, and his wife of 44 years, Joy Roberts , 62, were found dead
inside the charred rubble Nov. 29, 2001. Both were shot while asleep, and their
dream home was set on fire.
The couple's 12-year-old grandson was found the following day in the woods of
Cherokee County. Authorities say he admitted to the crimes and was soon charged with
murder and arson.
A good boy kills his most loved grandparents shortly after being put on antidepressants .
