The Board of Directors has discussed and agreed that it would be advantageous to form a Show Committee. The committee would be responsible for discussing show events, show dates and how to coordinate our Spring & Fall Shows with as little conflict as possible with other shows. We would like to encourage anyone who shows or has a family member who shows to volunteer.
In past years, the Board Members have assumed the responsibility for coordinating the Spring & Fall Shows and we have tried to do the best job possible but the majority of the Board members have limited show knowledge and felt that it would be in the best interest of our members to have knowledgeable show people actively involved. By volunteering to be on this committee you will not be assuming the responsibility of putting on the Spring & Fall Shows. We will still need volunteers to put on these Shows. A lack of response may put us in jeopardy of not having these shows in the future.
The Board will still be actively involved assisting where needed to help provide great Spring and Fall Fun Shows for our members. This is a great opportunity for members who show to participate in the early planning stages and encourage others to volunteer at these club sponsored events.
