Chocked full of songs, comedy, pictures  and entertaining history, this show will give you a new understanding about one of the most inspired and amazing engineering feats ever.  What's "dropping the lines?"  What's the difference between a Packet and a Bullhead?  How does a lock work?  What's up with those low bridges?  You'll find it all in this fast moving musical production as lock tender Padraig Connor and "canawler" Declan Riley tell you all about life on the "Er-I-ee."
This show is available for performance in your school or other venue in either a one act 40 minute version or in the full 90 minute two act version.
Base price in $600.00 for the one act version, $800 for the two act full version.  Additional fees as to distance traveled and meals/lodging may apply.
In both cases full production values will be present  with costumes, sets and, if your venue is dark capable, projections.  For further information contact us at 315-335-0814 or email at producers@chathamtheatre.com.

Now playing at Beck's Grove Dinner Theater:
Two erstwhile Guardian Angels,  "canawler" Declan Riley (Rod Foote-left)  and lock tender Padraig Conner (Robert Tracy-right) are sent down to guard the boaters on the modern Erie Canal.  While waiting, in a small Erie Canal Museum, for the canal to re-open for the new season, they pass the time in song and story recalling their experiences on this famed waterway. A great show for the whole family.
