We met dancing on the floor at the Silver Rose Saloon in Westville, NJ in 1991, learning a line dance called the "38" We've been dancing together ever since! Dance has become our way of life and we love it. It has brought us many, many good times and good friends.

We danced Country & Western for years, learning all the partner dances with 2 Step being our favorite, then visited a little 3 day convention in Cape May, NJ, by chance, where we were mesmerized by West Coast Swing. We started taking lessons in West Coast and quickly became addicted. Before long we were competing and traveling to events from coast to coast.
After a few years of dancing and traveling for West Coast Swing, we were introduced to Carolina Shag, the dance of the South. This dance absolutely captured our hearts the minute we saw it. We traveled the Shag circuit competing in CSA contests throughout the South, we teach and demonstrate this dance to anyone who will give us a chance. We founded the Delaware Valley Shag & Swing Club.
After spending several years dancing on competetive WCS and Carolina Shag dance teams, in 2005 we coached and choreographed The Atrium Swing Team, the first West Coast Swing team in the Phila / S. Jersey area.
We offer ongoing West Coast Swing and Carolina Shag Classes as well hosting weekly and monthly swing dance parties at the Atrium Dance Studio, Rte # 130 in Pennsauken, NJ, at Top Hat, 10771 Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia, PA and we also offer monthly Shag workshops..
Somewhere along the way Rob developed a love of playing music. He has become an excellent DJ for both Swing and Shag and is invited to local and national swing and shag events to play and plays each week at our Wednesday dance. Rob is also an excellent Ballroom DJ! Rob offers music editing services also. If you need a song cut, slowed down, 2 blended together or whatever - he is the man to see. Rob is a member of the Association of Beach and Shag Club DJs. He is available to DJ parties, weddings, corporate functions and other events.
Our love for music and dance has taken us to many exciting places; we've danced, met many fun and interesting people, danced, developed some wonderful friendships, danced, seen new places, danced and we've learned so much along the way.
