Tip for Coaches of Younger Teams

When an adult pitches to a young child they are so much taller and the ball comes in too high.  Kids typically have to swing with an uppercut to get solid contact.

If the coach pitches from one knee (use a towel as a cushion) the ball leaves the hand at about the same height as a 10 year old.  You can pitch more accurately if you throw from 35-40 feet.  Try It!
