Jim has owned beagles most of his life. We have owned beagles since 1983. In 1989 we purchased our first AKC registered beagle, a male pup out of FTC Branko's Jack of All Trades & Caesar's Whirlwind. - Shady Creek Tracker Jack. After a couple seasons of gunning this dog, and realizing just how special he was, we began AKC field trialing in 1992. At first, we went mostly to trials in the Mid-West Gundog Association and the Northern Michigan Large-Pack Hare Association, but soon after were going to trials in New York, Canada, Louisiana and Arkansas. Now we are on generation four out of Tracker Jack. He is 11 years old now! He is a 15" male. IFCSHADY PINES TRIX OF THE TRADE by IFC Branko's LumberJack bred to Shady Pines Trackers Trixie. He is a 13" male owned by Rod Weston, Waterford, Michigan. FC SHADY CREEK TROUBLE-SHOOTER by IFC Branko's LumberJack bred to Shady Pines Trackers Trixie. He is a 15" male. These males are offered at stud,on second page. We are not large breeders. We breed three to six of our own females per year. It is not our intention to increase the number of pups raised here, but to do it well, with careful consideration to the crosses we are making.
