Rat Terrier are small, loving, and faithful dogs. They are not as hyper as the Jack Russells, but they are Terriers so they do have many of the traits that most Terriers have. They were bred to catch and kill small vermin type animals including RATS. I don't believe Rat Terriers "Rats" are for everyone, but if you want a dog that is loving, ready to go when you are, intelligent, short hair, then one of these dogs maybe for you.
I only will have three females so I only have one maybe two litters a year. I only have type A (long legged) Rat Terriers. They are registered UKCI. I breed to the the NRTA and UKC standards. I have the mini size Rats, in b/w tris, chocolate and sables.
