NARAM-49 is now history. The best coverage of NARAM may be found at www.naramlive.com. The Michigan Farmers Hall of Fame has basically returned to normal. The rocketeers and the city they brought is gone now but will never be forgotten. A special thanks to the Aukerman's for the use of their facilities. I do not know a NARAM that has had a good home cooked breakfast every morning or have an ice cream parlor that serves delicious lunch and treats all afternoon long.
A little bit of construction did not keep NARAM-49 from being an excellent event. Is seems construction has become a norm at NARAM-49, but the excellent service and creative events form the hotel staff helped the event go smoothly.
A very nice pool was available off site for guest of the hotel. Work started promptly at 8am each morning. Most floors had rocket painting rooms available for your model finishing needs.
My special thanks to the members of SMASH for hosting such an awesome event. Especially Jeff and Candace Graham and John and Nancy Vandervoord. for their contribution towards the success of NARAM-49.
Attending NARAM for a number of years is a great tradition and family experience. Now you get to go from the cow farm of NARAM-49 to the horse farm of NARAM-50 both locations are awesome rocket flying fields.
WZZM Channel 13 from Grand Rapids, Michigan was at NARAM-49 on Friday prior to NARAM-49 to tape a segment for their production of Take 5. Check out the clip here:
