My middle school logo is the bulldog. The school bulldog is a fierce, scowling, competetive-looking pooch. I decided to create a new school nurse helper, using a bulldog. I did up a digital image of a nice, friendly, smiling bulldog, and named him Barkley, the Healthy Belmont Bulldog. Barkley has a little sidekick named Broccoli, the Belmont Bullfrog. That's him sitting on the green book. While Barkley's friendly face will appear on future bulletin boards and on my own Bulldog school nurse sweatshirt, Broccoli is the one who begs for creative expression...watch for more from him. He is about to become the middle school counterpart of Wuzzy, and is already writing to the fifth and sixth graders. Test insets will be added soon. |
