St. John's is the oldest existing church building in Presque Isle.  It was consecrated in 1876, about a year after the Episcopal mission was organized here.  It is a small, Victorian Gothic style building with beautiful stained glass windows, most given in memory of long-time parishioners.

Our mission statement follows: We the people of St. John's Episcopal Church gather to worship God, hear God's word, serve and proclaim Christ through fellowship, outreach and education in our community, the world and creation..
