350 ft. deep, 6" diameter shaft; 5.5 HP pump; 27KVA generator; 10 ft. x 10 ft. pump/generator house; 5,000 gallon water tower

Excess capacity from the generator will be used to provide electricity to the school.

Uboegbelu is a village of 3000 people in Nigeria of which over 99% are living in poverty.  Their only source of drinking water is a local stream which is also used for bathing.  Contaminated water is a major cause of serious illness and death.
