- Nuggets up to several ounces are extremely common in this area
- Platinum nuggets have also been found
- The property is suited for most types of gold mining activities... fakes, fines, and jewelry-sized nuggets can be found fairly easily by whatever methods of mining you prefer.
- For those of you who like to metal detect, this is pocket gold country!
- If you're a serious dredger, there's just no limit to how good this property might be. The river provides a great deal of diversity - with bends, low pressure bars, deeper areas,shallow, wide river expanses and narrower areas - All can provide extremely rich pay streaks.
- Since there has in effect been no modern mining activity in this area, it is reasonable to suspect that rich virgin gold deposits remain in place.
- Massive old workings are visible on the downstream boundary, validating serious gold recovery operations have taken place
- Shallow bedrock is abundant throughout, as are enormous walls of Ancient river gravels

- Based on what we have recovered here and on several adjacent claims, using just a 5 inch dredge, one should be able to recover 1/4 to 1/2 ounce of gold per day.
