Opening Times -

- In 2008 the park is open from the 15th of March to the 2nd of November

- First admission to the park is at 9.30am with rides opening at 10am

- Closing times for the theme park vary throughout the season

Location -

- Alton Towers is clearly signposted from these motorways:

- Travelling North: M1 - Junction 23a and M6 - Junction 15

- Travelling South: M1 - Junction 28 and M6 - Junction 16

- There is currently a £4 charge for car parking

Ticket Prices -

- At the gate prices are £34 for adults and £24 for children

- A 'Family of 4' is £90 and a 'Family of 5' is £100

- Group, senior and disabled tickets are also available

- Alton Towers Hotel

- Splash Landings Hotel

- Cariba Creek

This 37,000 sq ft water park is within the Splash Landings Hotel and includes many water slides and a water roller coaster.

- Extraordinary Golf

The new 18-hole adventure golf course customised and themed around the park's iconic rides and attractions is now open at Alton Towers.

- Chocolate Towers (Mar - Apr)

Alton Towers transforms itself into Chocolate Towers. Witness the amazing acrobatic Easter bunnies as they perform a whole host of breathtaking acts, crack the chocolate bungee run or indulge yourself with a menu dedicated to the scrumptious sweet stuff!

- Alton Towers Scarefest (Oct - Nov)
