Karen is the author of two published novels, Hey Dorothy You're Not in Kansas Anymore, a comedic novel inspired by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Where is Wonderland Anyway, an exciting tale inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Her plays have been produced throughout the United States and an anthology of her plays, Plays for a New Generation, was published by Global Authors Publications. Her recent projects include the ethnodrama, Certain Expectations, and the nonfiction book, Those They Left Behind: Interviews, Essays, Stories and Poems by Survivors of Suicide.

Dr. Bryson is a National Certified Counselor and educator. She is also a fiction author, playwright and performer. She earned a Master's degree in Human Development Counseling and a doctoral degree in Human Science at Saybrook Graduate School. Dr. Bryson is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Human Services at Ottawa University in Arizona.
