Mid February.....snow, ice and temperatures in the 20's.....boy do I miss those summer car shows...Thankfully the Atlantic City Collector Car Event takes place every February to help us car nuts make it through the winter...
If you have the cash (or credit), your dream car is here...
A car auction is cool to see.
Some of the final bids ranged from ludicrous to way-too-cheap.
An indoor car show feels very different from those outdoor mid-summer shows we're all accustomed to....for one thing, that sweet smell of car exhaust is in the air as potential buyers ask "hows she sound?"
The Fox body Mustang has truly taken it's place among the classic muscle cars of all time...
A promotional Mustang originally ordered by Hugh Hefner was a horse of a different color...
Ya gotta love the Mustang race cars...this Pro Street machine was awesome.
Here's one of the reasons I dont bring credit cards or loan applications to this show...
Prowlers.......ya either love that look or hate it.
Long live the 5.0...
It's great to see that pristine Mustangs like this mint condition ' 91 are still out there.
Well if you're into custom work, this gold-plated engine with Star Wars airbrushing was a crowd attraction...I think the car was a Corvette.
Just a different "glitter" flake paint. Some thought it was cool while others thought it criminal...
oooooooooohhh baby...........
I'd probably, no I WOULD do anything for this Cobra R...
An authentic Cobra...American muscle folklore at it's best.
There was no shortage of vintage Mustangs for sale.
The parts and memorabilia market was huge and once again I bought things I really didn't need and couldn't afford...oh well.
After the show, it was time for food. Our group enjoyed great Italian food at
G&S Ristorante on 3004 Atlantic Avenue - best garlic bread ever.
